I was sipping a wonderful Viognier glass of wine, and happened to glance at the bottle of my favorite Cab, I was creating these earrings, and I couldn’t resist the title.

I love these Lampwork boro beads, they look like they have a misty blue cloud hovering over magenta and gold. There are Thai silver bead caps gracefully wrapped above and below the boro beads. The beautiful tones of purple in this necklace are spectacular. Sugilite, according to Wikipedia, is named after, and found by Japanese Petrologist Ken-ichi Sugi.

The gemstone that is the focal portion of this necklace measures 25mm x 35mm (1inch =24mm). Above the gemstone, and connected by Swarovski crytals, a beautiful purple Lampwork Glass bead, created by Alison Turner. Bali silver bead caps surround the Lampwork glass bead which dangles the focal portion to a curve tube Sterling silver Bail. The necklace chain is 1mm snake chain, and measures 18 inches. I absolutely love the exquisite Sterling silver toggle clasp which has a floral pattern.

What I love about these Lampwork glass beads, is the way they change colors on the petals of the flower, in different lighting. The flower petals have a lavender tint in sunlight, become almost neon in low light. There are large 12mm Vintage Swarovski crystals, and Bali silver beads.
